The ETN “Synaptic Dysfunction in Neuropsychiatric Disorders” (Syn2Psy) is recruiting 14 early stage researchers (ESRs) to integrate various research projects aimed at understanding the molecular, synaptic, circuit and behaviour basis of neuropsychiatric disorders. These positions are open for excellent and highly motivated candidates with interest in synapse pathology in neuropsychiatric disorders, having an MSc degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Biological chemistry, Biomedical sciences, Pharmacy, Bio-informatics, or related disciplines. ESRs will work towards a PhD degree, completed with training opportunities in relevant non-academic organizations through secondments.

Successful candidates will receive an attractive base-salary in accordance with the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, for 36 months. The exact (net) salary depends on the EU-defined country correction factor, and on local tax regulations (for additional information see EU MSCA website). Fellows will also benefit from a mobility and family (if applicable) allowance. All fellows will have access to a comprehensive training program that includes secondments, network schools, active participation in conferences and training on transferable skills.

All ESRs will enrol in a PhD programme associated with the corresponding host-institution.
